Tapping the heart icon on the Android app does not change it in any way

Solved!

Tapping the heart icon on the Android app does not change it in any way

On pressing the heart icon in the notification drop down player or with the app open does not change it from an outline to indicate that it's been added to my liked songs playlist. I just get a popup at the bottom stating it's been added.

Hi there @TheHaze

Thanks for the post.

I tried reproducing this on two Android phones, but didn't get the same result. The heart icon became filled and the song was added to Liked Songs.

I'd recommend doing a full clean reinstall of the app, following the steps listed here.

If after that the issue persists, please let us know the following info:

- Spotify app version

- Device model + OS version

Keep us posted on how you get on.
