Temporary Error when Merging Accounts

Hi. I can no longer log onto spotify using my android phone. It tells me there's a temporary error when merging accounts. After i've logged in using Facebook and then there's an annoying second log in screen where this error message pops up.

Reinstalling spotify doesn't work, neither is it the solution from that thread a year ago where your country is set to the wrong one.

On the second screen, is there a "I'm new to Spotify" button? If so give pressing that a try and see if it will let you in.

I can try it, but I'm not new. I got a 6 month subscription from Telia when I got my phone from them.
