Terrible New UI! My songs!!

Terrible New UI! My songs!!

I'm premium on LG G5 (Android)

There's a new UI, that won't let me access my library (my songs), where I could browse through the list of artists for which I have offline songs, it's terrible as this is all I use usually. Now it's being replaced by "liked songs" and I have to scroll through 4000 songs to find the offline artists! Sucks ! Bring it back or I go to Deezer!

I have only relatively recently redownloaded the spotify app, so I don't have any downloaded content to check. But you don't have to scroll through the "Liked Song" to find what you are looking for. If you know the artist that you have download tracks for and those track were saved to your library, then you can go to that artist in the artist tab (shown in your screen shot). Any artist that you have saved songs by into your library will be listed here. Select the artist in question and then it will list every track you have saved by that artist. You can then select a track to play or shuffle all songs by that artist that you have saved. I don't know how it will identify the songs that were downloaded. It would be nice if they had a downloaded only filter.

Yes, this is an awful change.  My usual way of listening is to save a bunch of albums and then either play individual albums or, when I'm in the car or on the train, shuffle the full songs list.

Initially I thought 'Favourite Songs' was just a badly named version of the same thing, but it's not. After adding a couple of new albums I looked in that list and they are not there. I never mark anything as liked and want to be able to shuffle without having to build playlists all the time. You can shuffle the favourite slist, but I have no clue how stuff gets in the list - I don't favourite stuff and don't want to. Saved albums are not my 'favourites' they are just a bunch of albums I want to listen to over the next couple of weeks.

Why do software companies constantly remove features these days? It's incredibly annoyiing to constantly have to change how you use the software.

Please reinstate the songs list as it was. The new way of doing things is horrible.
