Hey there,
Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.
Could you please let us know which device you're using?
If you're experiencing this on your mobile device, we can assume that you have the newest Smart Shuffle feature turned on on your playlist and that might be the reason why this is happening.
If that's the case, we'd suggest that you turn it off and check if you'll experience the same. You can turn Smart Shuffle on or off whenever you want by tapping through the Shuffle button at the top of your playlist or on the Now Playing View.
You can find more info about the Smart Shuffle in this article. If you have any input about this new feature - you're welcome to share it in this thread as your feedback is important to us!
If the above is not the case, could you send over some screenshots of your playlist, queue and NPV?
Hope this helps. If anything else comes up, the Community will be here for you 🙂
I'm getting the same and smart shuffle is not on, also auto play is off so this shouldn't be happening.

My Question or Issue
This happens randomly. Sometimes it won't happen for weeks, and sometimes it happens multiple times within an hour. I will be playing one of my playlists and random songs will start playing that are not in my playlist. Country songs (same Alan Jackson song every single time) or now Christmas songs (kids christmas songs). These songs are NEVER played on my spotify account. These songs are NOT part of any playlist. Once it happens, I can get the song to pause but I have to completely restart my phone in order to start playing my playlists again. This has happened with increasing frequency since this spring. To the point that I'm almost ready to cancel everything Spotify and find other ways to play my music as I cannot STAND country music and I cannot STAND kids christmas music. I have changed my password. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my phone. It makes no difference. It doesn't make a difference which one of 4 vehicles I am in. It happens in all (2022 Infiniti, 2019 Ford, 2018 Mazda, 2015 Chevrolet). Tonight, in the course of a 30 minute drive, it happened 6 times and I finally gave up and listened to nothing for the last 10 minutes. There has to be something going on for this to happen. Otherwise the app is absolute **bleep** and hacked somehow. And I have been a spotify premium user for over 3 years now and a free user for approximately 3 years before that.

My Question or Issue
Whenever I open the app, occasionally the song I’m listening to changes by itself without any input. I don’t know what the conditions are that are causing this it seems random. Started happening yesterday 13/11/24
