The app takes control with another device

I am facing an issue with Spotify on both devices. Both of my devices are Samsung Galaxy S8 and Lenovo Duet Chromebook 10.1, and they are signed in to my same account. When I sign in to my Lenovo Duet Chromebook 10.1 after putting in my PIN or password and after several minutes, it takes control with this app and the media control appears. What could that be?

Keep in mind that with the Connect feature, you can use one device to remotely control listening on another one. More info on how it works, you can read in this article. 

So we can get a better understanding of the situation, can you let us know if the music starts playing automatically from the laptop as soon as you log in there, when you've been listening from the phone until this moment without you changing anything?
