Issue

This bug only recently appeared for me and I have not seen any mentions either in any of the community posts.

When I start a new queue from my saved songs and press the repeat button continuously, the first thing that happens is that the song changes and if I keep pressing it, the app crashes.

Hey there @Fatherman420,

Thanks for reaching out.

Let's do a clean reinstall first. Before that, you'd have to disconnect all devices from your account here.

Then follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings on your phone.

2. Select "Apps".

3. Tap "Spotify" in the app list.

4. Tap on "Storage> Clear Data" for a clean reinstallation.

5. Tap Uninstall.

6. Open Google Play and install the Spotify Music app.

There is something else you could do if that does not help. Go to:

1. Mobile Settings> Apps> Spotify> Permissions. Allow everything you see there.

2. Mobile settings> Apps> Spotify> Battery> Optimize battery usage> select top All (not optimized for apps)> Spotify> disable.

3. Last step - restart the phone. Then everything should be fine :slightly_smiling_face:

Let us know how it goes!

Thanks for replying. Unfortunately I tried all of the methods but it didn't seem to help. I can provide a video of how exactly I got it executed, it seems more like a bug than a local issue.

Hey @Fatherman420,

Thanks for the reply.

It would be great if you share a video of the issue. You can add it as a link to an external video sharing platform if it's too big. This will help us investigate further 🙂

Looking forward to your reply.
