Is it possible at all that you guys over at Spotify could program the app so it can sync linked local tracks from computers to Android storage (you know, like it used to before shuffle play) and let only those tracks be played on demand (the rest would just make the shuffle play button dance), because I can't use the mobile app to listen to my music like any regular player. 😞

Hi, Whilst I sort of agree with you that this would be useful, unfortunately syncing for offline listening for any playlist is a premium feature.

Have you checked to see if that Idea already exists in the Ideas section? If it does then add your Kudos to show your support. If not, create a new idea and if it gets enough Kudos it may well happen!

Right! But I'm only proposing the ability to play local files the user owns, not to sync playlists with Spotify content which I understand you should pay your subscription for.
