My Question or Issue

When going to the page for a podcast the podcast thumbnail briefly flashes on screen while loading the other screen. This only happens sometimes and im unsure of why.

Thanks for reaching out.

 

Does this happen with all podcasts or with particular ones? Please send us a few examples so we can check on our end. 

 

Also, if possible, send us a short video showing the behavior. If you're still unable to consistently reproduce it, just send us a screenshot with a detailed description of which thumbnail this happens with.

Its hard to reproduce consistently, but it will load once at the top

This also happens when clicking on the podcast sometimes

Thanks for getting back to us. 

 

Just to confirm, is this only a visual thing or is it causing any playback issues? It'd be helpful if you could send the links to the affected podcasts so that we can check them from our end. 

 

Also, have you already tried performing a clean reinstall of the app? This is often an overlooked step, but it can help get rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

This still happens after a clean reinstall. This seems to happen on every podcast, but the specific one displayed here

Thank you for keeping in contact and for the shared info.

 

To continue investigating this case, would you mind checking on a different device (using your own account) to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out. 

 

It would also be great if you could have someone log in with their account on your device (it could be the same friend/family member), to see if the issue persists. This will help us understand if it could be account-related or not.


Lastly, include in your next response the Spotify version you're currently running.
