Unable to log in either username or password is incorrect

Im a long serving lover of Spotify i happiy pay the 9.99 per month BUT!

I cant log in on my Samsung a3 (2016) phone anymore, however I can log in on my macbook using the EXACT same log in details so the issue clearly isnt my username or password.

Ive tried reinstalling it hundreds of times over the past couple of months, done every troubleshoot available

It breaks my heart that a company of such stature can continue to take my money without providing a service.

I just want my music back on my phone, that isnt much to ask is it?

Hey, you can go here to double-check your username (note that this is not an email address). Just close that page for now. If the username shown is a 12 digit number, your account is tied to facebook and you should be using the facebook log in option.

Give it another try and let m know if you still have problems.

How do i UN-tie my email address from facebook?

This guide explains what you need to do to unlink your account from facebook. It's a bit messy but can be done.

I signed up normally through the spotify website, i think ive mistakenly logged in on facebook

Has this over wrote all my previous account data for this email address?

Both spotify/facebook emails are the same

Can this be correcred back to its original state?

If you accidentally linked your account to facebook and your username is a number then you will need to follow that guide to unlink it.

Just to confirm..

The log in issue hasnt been solved..

All i know is i cant log in on my phone, it appears that my phone is linked to facebook however i can log in on my macbook using my normal log in details
