Unable to play songs on Spotify android app

Solved!

Unable to play songs on Spotify android app

I recently factory reset my android phone (FP3), and have reinstalled all apps. Since this, I am unable to play any song on Spotify. If I search for an artist, and select one - the screen never loads and remains black. I can select a song to play, but it remains on 0:00. I can move the song along (for example a minute in) but it doesn't play. I have no playlists from my account either. I only have the app installed on my phone and a tablet.

I have a premium account.
I have tried - signing out, signing back in.
Clearing cache and data.
Clearing cache and data, uninstalled, deleted com.spotify.music (though folder remained), turned off phone, turned back on, reinstalled app.

I seem to have resolved this, or it's resolved itself.

I removed the SD card, restarted my phone, and Spotify was working.

I then put my SD card into my device to see if that would, once again, cause issues - which would have confirmed it was a problem with the SD card.

And it works now with the SD card in.

So I'm not sure if it was removing and replacing the SD card that did the trick, or just turning my phone on and off a couple of times.
