Unable to remove song from playlist due to song copyright issue

Unable to remove song from playlist due to song copyright issue

Hi,

I'm using Spotify on my Samsung S8.

I have a song on my playlist that I can't seem to remove because the album that song was on was removed for copyright.

Usually if the song was legit and became down/greyed out you might still be able to remove it. However in this case it was just a user-made album. I tried using the desktop version but it doesn't even show the song in my playlist there. What would be the best way to fix this?

Update:

I was able to fix it myself!

When a feature doesn't work on the App, just fix it using the Desktop program.

The Desktop program by default doesn't show greyed out unavailable songs.

You have to first go to username dropdown > Settings > scroll all the way down to Display Options > Activate "Show unavailable songs in playlist"

From there, go back to the playlist, find the specific song, click on the edit button (3 dots) on the far right, Remove.
