My Question or Issue

Hello there I am noticing an issue with the in app volume slider. It is on the connect page but while listening on a local device. I notice when I am on my phone it works normally and I see it move with the regular volume slider on my phone. But when on my tablet it seems stuck at 90% no mater the volume of the tablet. When I try to adjust this by simply sliding the bar, it will stay for 30 seconds then revert to 90%. It will also revert if I touch the volume on my tablet. This also seems to give me a less full signal to the speakers compared to connecting my phone to the tablets Bluetooth and playing it through that. any thoughts on a solution or to this?

In case the volume slider reverts to a certain value without you being able to control it you might be experiencing a known issue that we're currently investigating. We'd suggest you go to this Ongoing Issue page and add your vote by clicking on the +VOTE button. Make sure you follow the steps provided under Status Update as well. This will help us investigate deeper and find a solution as soon as possible.  

 

It'll also be useful to subscribe via the three-dots menu in the top right corner next to the title. That'll make sure you stay up to date with any relevant updates about this.

Thanks for getting back to us. 

 

Тhe user who originally reported the issue was experiencing it on a PC, but we don't exclude the possibility that this might occur across different devices, in your case a tablet as well.  

 

That's why under Status Update we ask our users to provide additional info such as device make, model, operating system and Spotify app version. By gathering these details from users we can investigate the issue further and determine faster where it originates from.
