Weird issue with galaxy watch active & spotify app

My Question or Issue

At the end of the day when I go to play music from my spotify app, it shows one song playing (Album cover, title, artist) that matches what it says on my watch, but the actual song playing is the song that i click on my playlist. The song it says is playing never changes, until i restart my phone, then the problem is fixed.

Many topics about this issue. All seem to point at the Galaxy watch app. until now provided solutions (clear cache, restart, re-install) are only (really) short term solutions...
