Why did you disable the bass boost and virtual effect of my equalizer?

No he tocado nada en absoluto en mi configuración de Spotify. Sólo utilicé el ecualizador para potenciar las tumbas o tener un efecto virtual. Resulta que ahora de la nada sin tocar nada me desactivan la capacidad de usar el efecto virtual y el refuerzo de tumbas. ¡¡¡No puedo potenciar las tumbas ni usar efectos virtuales en mi teléfono!!!!!. Dime que carajo te pasa, lo desactivaron y no toqué ninguno de los ajustes que desactivan dichas funciones del ecualizador, estoy furioso. No me lo arreglan y voy personalmente a las oficinas de Spotify y destrozo la empresa!!!

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. Hope you don't mind us replying in English as it's the official language of the forum.

Keep in mind that when you tap on the equalizer of your Spotify app on an Android phone, it takes you to the phone's audio settings and not directly to a Spotify equalizer. Any changes to your device's equalizer are made and handled directly by the manufacturer, so we'd suggest reaching out to them for further info.

You're wrong. Spotify has its own equalizer. At least on my phone.

The system equalizer works perfectly. The problem is the equalizer in the Spotify app that has disabled the bass boost and surround effect

Hola. Al parecer es un problema de Spotify con los teléfonos de la marca Xiaomi, pero ya es el segundo teléfono Xiaomi que el ecualizador de Spotify deshabilitó el refuerzo de bajos y el efecto envolvente.

 Tengo un Redmi Note 10 Pro y también lo he probado desde el MI 12 de un compañero del trabajo, en ambos cuando abrimos el ecualizador de Spotify el refuerzo de bajos y el efecto envolvente están siempre inhabilitados. Alguna solución?

Hey @lachterma-ar,

How the equalizer settings look depends on the device being used and how well its settings work with Spotify.

Surround sound on my end (a Samsung A51) can be toggled on but it would only work with headphones on.
And as for the bass boost setting - I don't have one at all but you can try adjusting the sliders to affect bass - try playing around with the equalizer sliders to the left 🙂

I got the same problem.. the bass boost and soround sound was turning grey on my xiaomi redmi note 13G pro plus .

But, it will work if I connect my phone to an earphone.. I hope it helps you .
