Why does the Spotify application on my phone is detected as the web player?

Why does the Spotify application on my phone is detected as the web player?

I just change my phone to a Poco P3, and once I downloaded Spotify, the application is considered as the web browser. Which means I can't have access to my own playlist, can't choose my own music, etc. Any luck on that ?

Hey there,

Thanks for the post.

I'd do my best to help out, but I'm a bit confused as to what you mean exactly, so it would be great if you can give me a a bit more info on what exactly is going on.

If you don't see your own playlists and can't play music on demand on your phone (even if your have a Premium subscription), most likely you're logged in a different free account on the phone. You can check this by opening your Profile page on the phone and checking your username and profile pic.

If it's not the same as on your other devices, then log out. Check your email address and password and try logging back in your original account. Check out this Article for some tips.

Let me know if that helped.
