Why does the all break when I pay for premium?

Why does the all break when I pay for premium?

After paying for premium, the app doesn't work. Even when connected to WiFi, all playlists say they're empty, searching specific artists doesn't yield results and songs won't play.

Hi there!

 

Could you confirm that your device's OS is Android? If so, there's this ongoing issue that's currently being investigated, so feel free to check it out and provide the requested information. We'll then forward it to our tech folks.

 

Otherwise, please share the following info so we can have a closer look:

  • Your device's make, model and OS version
  • The version of Spotify you're running
  • The troubleshooting you've tried so far

I am on a TCL 305, using Android version 11.

The version of Spotify that I have installed is version 8.7.72.546.

I have tried reinstalling the app and restarting my device several times.
