Those types of behaviors are commonly related to the play queue, so first we'd recommend clearing the play queue by following the steps mentioned here. In case you haven't tried before, it's also worth performing a clean reinstall of the app to make sure that the app is up to date.

If the issue persists, and in order to continue investigating this, include in your next response a more detailed description of the issue you're having to take a better look at. Also, include as well the make, model, and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running.
