Why is Spotify playing more songs when it finishes the playlist

Solved!

Why is Spotify playing more songs when it finishes the playlist

I have not asked for "songs based on my playlist". I carefully make my playlists as to what I want on them, then play them.

I do not wish anything else to be played. When it finishes, stop playing.. And go back to the start if I hit the "play" button.

That is how it has worked and how I want Spotify to continue working.

My playlists are carefully made. I took most of last night creating my "current weekly".

Hey @EarlPurple, thanks for posting!

If you go to your Settings page, you should see an option "AutoPlay" turn it off, then it should stop playing recommendations!

Tell how it goes : )

I have gone into offline mode but that should NOT be the solution.

Playing music I didn't ask to play should never be what your app does.

I have turned that off.

I recently had to wipe and redo my entire cache because one file appeared to be "faulty".

There definitely should be a way to refresh just one song in your cache.

There should also be a way to clear your cache without it changing your settings.
