This isn't so much a request for help as much as a statement.

I just updated my app and noticed my widget was gone. After googling the "issue" I found that Spotify has retired it. I will be cancelling my subscription until Spotify sees it fit to bring the feature back. This isn't a threat. I'm just cancelling my subscription. Sad to see Spotify won't even provide a proper explanation for this that might make me understand the decision, but that was a priority feature for me and it really sucks to see it gone.

Spotify adds and removes certain features to test how the user experience changes and aims to improve it.

They brought it back. Update your app.

Yeah, don't do that. Why not just hide the features deeper in the settings which effectively removes it for most people?
