My Question or Issue

I've had this problem for several years now - Spotify becomes unresponsive in search mode or when I try to access my library. I've done a clean install twice now on my current phone which fixes the problem but after a while the issue reoccurs. Before the Galaxy I had a Google phone - same thing. I've switched out the SD card, didn't help. I have ~3000 songs downloaded onto my external storage. I know, it's a lot. But reducing the size of my library isn't an option for me, and to me having the songs available offline is one of the main reasons for a premium account.

Is there anything else besides another clean install that I could try?
