buggy bluetooth since spotify update

I think ever since spotify implented the feature where you can décidé which bluetooth device should be used to play music through, 

My phone has been having buggy bluetoorh connection with spotify. 85% of the time it works fine.

But then often the connection stops being stable, and android keeps connecting and disconnecting to my bluetooth speakers or earbuds.

Or android simply doesnt recognize my bluetooth device at all anymore... 

until i force quit spotify and then android recognizes my device and connects to it immediately.

have had thiz problem since at least MIUI 12.5... on all versions.

but it started with the spotify update that allowed bluetooth device to be selected. 

tried many different android versions and factory resets etc.It's caused by spotify

We appreciate the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. However, we’d like to first suggest a clean reinstall as this is more thorough than a regular one and can be helpful to get rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

If the issue persists, would you mind checking if this connection issue happens with a different Bluetooth device or casting from a different phone? This will give us a better look at it and help you further.

I took a long time to answer because I was trying Youtube Premium for the past week or two (have also uninstalled spotify) to see if the problem was really caused by Spotify, and it really is. I haven't had the bluetooth bug once. 

I've had this bluetooth problem with spotify with multiple MIUI versions for many months now, and strongly suspect it started happening during the time android itself introduced the option to choose which (bluetooth) device you want to have sound output to be going through. 

I had done multiple factory resets before and have had the problem with all my bluetooth audio devices.

It's a pity i had to change to a different audiostreaming platform because I like Spotify more. Will try spotify again in a couple of months.

If the issue with bluetooth problems would come back when using youtube premium, i will report here immediately.

But as things stand for the past two weeks, it seems my initial presumption that the issue is a bluetooth bug related to spotify is proving to be true.
