distorted sound unlistenable

My Question or Issue  Today I opened spotify and the tracks were completely distorted and grating, Thats online and downloaded tracks.  the music on the device played through another player were ok, so its not the speakers. I deleted and reinstalled the app, logged in. but the problem continued, unlistenable tracks. What is happening?

Just a quick check, have you tried restarting the device? We suggest you try that, then deleting the app and running a clean reinstall.
