downloading songs

When you down load a song, where does it download to?? It says it's downloaded but I can't find it on my phone anywhere. I have an HTC1

The Songs aren't saved as single mp3 file for every song on your phone but hidden in the depth of the App files for preventing legal issues and preventing file piracy. Spotify isn't allowed to let you download them as plain files so it saves them in something like a database on your Phone, hidden so you can save them for offline Use.

Btw. There is no converter or simuliar possibility to extract them. This isn't just the case in Spotify but with all Streaming services, to keep the fee's low and actualy affordable for everyone Spotify is forced to do this, otherwise labels etc. would charge far higher fees so Spotify uses this kind of saving files.
