Hi,

I just downloaded Spotify for my tablet.

When trying to log in by username (not via Facebook), I start typing in my email address, but as soon as I hit the '@' key, a red message says I need a username (as in not an email address). I have no idea what this reffers to. I tried to log in using that giant randomly generated username Spotify gives every one of us, it didn't work either.

So what username am I supposed to use? All my other devices have accepted my email address as a username...

Hey @EmmaKarena, welcome to the Community!

 

That's strange. When did this start happening? Did you notice it after an app update? If you haven't already tried so, try a clean reinstall to see if it helps.
