i can't log in

i can't log in

hi everyone i have a big probleme 

i can't log in on Android i reinstalled the app tried older versions tried with the username 

there is any error but from it is possible to login from the web app

Having the same problem after the last update. After nowhere it asked me to log in. So, I do that. The button from "Login" changes to "Logging in...", and after a moment changes back to "Login". No error, nothing as it was never pressed.

However, if I type a wrong password, it shows error "wrong username/password combination". So, it doesn't work only when I type the correct password.

 

Tried reinstalling it, but the problem persists.

 

Samsung S5, android 6.0.1

You could maybe try changing your password and logging with your username/new password. 

If that doesn't work try logging in with your email-address and new password.

I've tried both resetting the password and using username instead of email. The result is the same 😞

I have the same problem and I don't receive emails from Spotify. I tried to reset the passwort and change the username, but I never get a mail. 

So, I've already tried these things to no avail.

  • Reinstall.
  • Wipe cache partition and reinstall.
  • Connect the phone to a laptop and try to find some Spotify folders - couldn't find any (after uninstalling it)
  • Remove SD card

FOUND THE PROBLEM. Tried to login on my laptop, and error was displayed: that my country doesn't match my location.

 

Well, that's stupid. I'm on holiday and going to be on holiday for another 4 months... So, of course, the country won't match. But the sim card is still the same and it's in roaming mode. It could be smarter and just work.

Anyway, this is a BUG, because phone app doesn't display any errors.
