i can't pause any songs from my lock screen

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community. 

 

Since it could be a temporary error, would you mind trying each of the following steps?

  • Restart the Spotify app. 
  • Log out and back in. 
  • Check the app is up-to-date.
  • Reinstall the app.
    Note: After reinstalling, you'll need to redownload any music you've made available for offline listening.
  • If possible, try a different internet connection.

Works perfectly! So simple and obvious.

This doesn't work for me. After 2 days the issue comes back

Could you let us know the following:

  • Your device's make, model and OS version.
  • The exact version of Spotify you're running, found in the app's Settings > About.

A short screen recording which shows this behavior in action would also be greatly appreciated. That way we can get a clear understanding of what's happening on your end.

 

If possible, try logging in to another device (preferably with the same OS) to see if you'd experience the same behavior there. A friend's or a relative's device, for example, would do the trick.
