i can't see the controls of the music I'm playing on the lock screen

everything is fine on the notification settings and everything there is turned on but I still cannot see the music controls on the lock screen. I tried reinstalling the app but the problem persisted. I have a samsung galaxy f41. This has never happened before and it suddenly happened today. How do i fix this

The lockscreen notification bar for Spotify started piling songs on top of each other, making it impossible to see what was playing. I restarted my phone, updated the app, closed and reopened Spotify 10 times, and now I'm stuck with a notification bar that shows the correct song but doesn't give the playback option to start or stop or skip the song.

Did you update your system UI or your OS recently? If you're using a theme, try disabling it temporarily and rebooting your device to see if that does the trick.

Something that's worth trying is going to Settings > Sound & vibration > Media > turning Show media on lock screen off/on > restarting your device. Make sure that Spotify isn't being restricted by your battery settings or any other performance optimizing apps you might be running.
