ige used almost 1.5Gb in less than 4 weeks even tho i listen to downloaded only. wont play offline

Hi, can I ask how you know this is attributed to Spotify? When you say "won't play offline" is this a statement or question as it contradicts the first part of your title.

Please can you provide more information as well as device and software details as it's hard to troubleshoot just on the information provided.

Sure. On my phone, Samsung A5. It says under data use which apps are using how much data (4G),. When I try to play albums I've downloaded over WiFi in house and play off line or without Internet connection music just stops after a few seconds. Sometimes I can get a minute or so but then Spotify just stops playing. 

So enable data and play from my library/downloaded albums n it still chews up my data.

Thanks for the info. I wonder if the cache is corrupt this making Spotify have to stream online. Can you try a clean install using the guide linked in my signature?
