The Offline mode prevents the app from connecting to an internet source in order to save data. However, when the account is logged out with this mode turned on, it still has no internet communication and will give you an error message.

To fix this, we'd first recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app. This is often an overlooked step, but it can get rid of any corrupted files that might be causing issues logging in as it reset the app preferences.
