My Question or Issue      My app goes dark whenever I press to play a song. It does not malfunction on desktop.

Could you let us know the following:

  • Your device's make, model and OS version
  • The version of Spotify you're running

Feel free to share the troubleshooting you've tried so far so we avoid repeating the steps. It's worth performing a clean reinstall, if you haven't already.

 

A screenshot / screen recording which shows this behavior in action would be greatly appreciated. That way we can get a clear idea of what's happening on your end.
