music not playing

I recently bought a tablet from someone literally yesterday(Google Nexus 7), I install spotify, I sign up with my newly created Facebook profile and everytime I click to play a song it doesn't, and it says 'get spotify premium' or something, but I've been told by friends you're able to check it out for free until you subscribe? I'm happy doing that but not until I've been able to try it out first! Please help it's so frustrating.

When you install spotify from Google Play, it should give you a 48 hour premium trial unless you have had premium in the past. If this didn't happen, you can use the online contact form and someone at Spotify can help. If you get an automated response directing you back to the community or to the help pages, make sure to reply to it directly to speed things along.
