music won't save to "your music"

music won't save to "your music"

Recently transferred all my music from one account (which was premium) to a new account (which is free) due to email account changing and wanting spotify to match my new email. I contacted someone over the phone and they did all the transferring fine, cancelled the old account etc. All was swell.

A couple of weeks ago I got an email saying my premium account had a problem and premium was cancelled. Thought nothing of it.

And this week I have been trying to save new music to my account, which isn't saving!

The steps I go through are:

i) go to artists page - SIA

ii) click on album I want to save - Colour The Small One

iii) click "save" - tells me it is saved.

iv) go out of this album back to artist page, click back onto album - album isn't saved.

How do I resolve this? I believe it is connected to me transferring the music from one account to another and this new account just doesn't want to change/add music. It isn't just one artist/album that won't be saved - it's every single one!

I also have noticed there are no adverts when I listen to music. It's as if I have the premium account still, and I wonder if the account isn't accurately connected to the spotify system.. Sort of like my account is a branch half snapped off, but has enough of a connection still to remember what it should be doing just no ability to grow further. Ugh.

Someone please advise me!!
