next/previous song buttons in Google Maps are inactive

After one of the latest updates (8.7.72.546) I can only start playback from Google Maps navigation view, but next/previous song buttons are inactive (grayed out).

I've checked this with one older (8.7.58.455) version found (I uninstalled current version and installed from older APK file) and those buttons were active again.

I should add that this older APK version had properly updated itself via Google Play Store a minute ago and it's not working again, so the issue was introduced somewhere between 8.7.58.455 and 8.7.72.546

Looks like it's fixed in beta version that had just landed on my phone: 8.7.76.348

I reverted to the stable branch to check if the recent update fixed this issue. The bug is still present though with Spotify stable version: 8.7.74.443.

Please merge fix from the beta soon.

This issue seems to be fixed with the latest stable 8.7.76.359 release of the Android app (from Play Store).
