no song buttons are working

I am using a Nook HD tablet, I have been using Spotify without issue for years, but now suddenly none of the buttons on the song window work. Including: play, pause, shuffle, reapet, skip, go back, favorite, or song opions.

I've tried everything from restarting my device, to force stopping all other music aplications on my device, but it continues to not work.

I can search, navigate, and start songs fine, but after that it is permanently stuck on loop without ability to do all I mentioned.

I searched but haven't found ANY other mention of this problem.

Well, I did that, got it all done and entered the app again to find the same issue is also aplying to my LOG IN AND SIGN UP BUTTONS!

I'm even worse of than before. T-T

 In my frustrasion I mashed the log on button 100+ times a seccond using my entire hand. Aparently 1 out of the 1000 taps was accepted and I got logged in. Same thing seems to eventually work with all the buttons that fail to work normally. Although I assume this news only complicates the issue. But I still need a solution, since mashing the buttons for a minute to do anything is not prefferable...

If you only get this problem with spotify and not other apps, I suggest you use the online contact form and someone at Spotify can help get this sorted.
