My Question or Issue

Spotify showing two notifications when I play spotify. the first one is the normal one "playing on this phone" and it shows the song that I'm listening to. the second one is another song that I'm not even listening to and it's always the same song. how can I get rid of the second one?

This same issue was reported and solved in this thread. It has plenty of troubleshooting steps, please try them all and let us know if the issue persists or if the second notification goes away.

Hello, maybe someone is listening to music with your account, sign out everywhere and change the password hope it helps

Thanks for posting in the Community! I'm sorry to hear that this is happening to you.

 

First, to ensure that your account is safe and you're the only one that has access to it, please consider following the steps in this article to protect your account. 

 

Second, I'd suggest that you try reinstalling the app to see if it resets the notifications and now you only see the song actually playing. You can find more guidance here

i have signed out everywhere and then change my password, and had done a clean reinstall but the problem still exists.
