option download for mobile

Well the option donwload playlist on my mobile phone sucks... everytime i check it on and its downloaded, plays fine, but some time later when i want to listen to it on the road and have no internet, all checked playlist are off again... this happend a lot.. so why do i have to download all this while it doenst work for the purpose it is meant to be.... as long as they get our money its all fine, but it will never be our music thats for sure...
