p20pro: Music starts again after headphones are unplugged

Hey guys,

I'm seeking for advice for some strange behaviour of spotify in combination with my Huawei p20pro and Android 9, which lead to some rather uncomfortable situations already...

After I enter a library or something I usually unplug my headphones because I want to use them on my computer. That's when sometimes a strange behaviour of Spotify comes into play: I closed all apps by using the task manager, Spotify is not showing anymore in the notification bar when pulling it down from the top either. Sometimes when unplugging my phones at this poin Spotify starts up again and the music stars playing via the phone's speakers which is not I what I want obviously in such an environment. Any thoughts about that?

We're talking about a usual mini-jack connector, connected to the phone via the Huawai jack-USB-C adapter. It doesn't matter if I only unplug the mini-jack from the adapter or the whole adapter from the phone. 

Any advice?
