Solved!

playing First minute of songbthen moving on

Hello! I had to reienstall the app to my Samsung Galaxy S2 this weekend after reseting my phone. Since doing so, the app is playing 50sec.-1 min of a song before moving into another song. I have checked my settings and I do not have crossfade set.

Any ideas?

Hi there! I recommend reaching out directly to Spotify Support. They can be reached through their Twitter Page @SpotifyCares or through the online contact form.

Make sure to check your inbox and junk folder for an email from Spotify. Once you get it, make sure to reply back right away, even if it says it's from a "no-reply" email.

Cheers!

What's a Spotify Rock Star, and how do I become one?

Spotify won't complete an entire song. It is jumping to the next song too early.

when listining to anything, weither its a saved playlist, streaming  a playlist, or even the radio part of spotify,  on my android,  about 5-10 seconds into every single song it automaticly skips songs,  witch is misrable lol.  i have tried to restart phone,  update app, update phone even,  uninstall and reinstall the app all leading me to the same issue i need a soulution to this please, i had to use crappy pandora today, i dont want to do that

Hi there,
Welcome at the Spotify Community!

Could you please try to reinstall Spotify on your Android device, to make sure everything like cache etc is fresh?

To reinstall Spotify on Android, please follow all the steps correctly as given in this topic.

Otherwise, what song quality do you have enabled? Does it help if you try to set it on normal?

Also, are you a Free or Premium user?

Hi there,
Welcome at the Spotify Community!

Have you followed all the steps from the guide when reinstalling Spotify?

If yes, please let me know:

  • What device do you have (e.g: Samsung Galaxy S4)
  • What Spotify version do you have installed
  • What Android version are you running with?

Thank you.

Hey @robertrobled we can try a bit of troubleshooting here before you need to switch to the contact form.
