please help: spotiify stopped working on my android smartphone

Today I coudn't start spotify on my phone anymore. Every time I try to open it, the (black) screen freezes and the phone restarts itself after a while. I guess this problem started after the last update. Last week it was working fine. I tried already to fix it by uninstalling and reinstalling, but it doesn't help. Also I made sure it is on the 'trusted apps' list of my Trend micro Mobile Security. Strange thing is that I have no such problemsn on my tablet, which is also an android device (without the mobile security program). Can anybody help me with this problem ? It sucks that I can't listen to spotify with my phone anymore.

you are not alone. There are a couple of similar threads on here. Those of us with Android Jellybean as the operating system seem to be affected. My phone is the same, my tablet which has Android Kit Kat is fine.

Thanks, now I know at least more about where it is coming from. Next step: finding a solution for the problem!
