"Cannot queue this content" for artist Stray Kids in all platforms (phone, tablet, web app)

Solved!

"Cannot queue this content" for artist Stray Kids in all platforms (phone, tablet, web app)

(Premium, Canada. Phone is Android, Galaxy S9+, latest version)

I cannot play any content from Stray Kids as of yesterday when Spotify crashed on a particular song on my phone. I didn't get the song title cuz... well, it crashed. Since then, when I click on any song by Stray Kids, Spotify won't play. If I try to queue the song on my phone or tablet, I get the error "Cannot queue this content". If I try to listen to the artist "Radio" none of their songs play, but other artists will play. Can't play any of their songs in public playlists. Even in my own playlist or downloaded content. Also won't play in the browser (Chrome). However, in the web app, I can add Stray Kids songs to the queue, but then the queue just skips their songs when I play.

I can get 1 song to play - Going Numb with Alesso. No other Stray Kids songs will play.

I've uninstalled and re-installed Spotify. Same

Rebooted by phone. Same.

Installed Spotify on my tablet (Galaxy Tab S5e). Same

Heck, even turned on Explicit Content. SAME

Hi There. A friend figured it out for me. When Spotify crashed, about 5 of of the artists I'm "Following" were blocked. My guess is all artists in the playlists I was listening to (my own playlist) got blocked.

Looking back at the screenshot, I can see the icon showing it's blocked, but would have never thought to look there since I know I didn't actually block these 5 artists artist. This happened due to an app crash. Unblocking them fixed the issue.

Thanks for the response, tho. It would be nice if the error message actually said "This artist has been blocked" rather than "Cannot queue this content".

Hey @chris_tsang,

Thanks for the post.

We've checked the availability of Stray Kids in Canada and the artist's content should be streamable.

Are you still unable to stream any songs from them?

If so, let us know if you can see the songs, are they grayed out or not displayed at all.

Cheers.
