"Recently Added'' sorting issue (Android only)

"Recently Added'' sorting issue (Android only)

I'm having this pretty annoying issue for almost a month now on my Spotify app (my Android version is 5.1). I like to store my offline songs inside a playlist, since this method keeps all my downloaded songs together and organized and helps me to control its size as well (storage concerns, right?).

Obviously, I used to sort them using the ''Recently Added'' option, which organizes songs from newest to oldest. However, everytime I activate this option, it completely scrambles the order of songs inside albums for no apparent reason (I always add whole albums instead of seperate songs), putting them in alphabetical order instead of following their specific track number. I can't find a way to fix that and it's getting on my  nerves, since it's never happened before. My app updates all the time, but this problem doesn't seem to be the focus or maybe I'm the only who noticed it.

When I use the same option in my Windows 10 app, with the exact same playlist,  songs are in their respective track order as they should be and only the albums themselves are changed. I'm just confused.

Can anyone explain what's happening?

Unfortunately I have had the exact same issue for months. There doesn't seem to be any support from Spotify on finding a solution to the issue either; I contacted customer service about it and was told that albums were 'always sorted alphabetically'... What? Anyway, hopefully someone comes up with a fix soon, as they told me they would pass my query on to the 'specialist team'. In the mean time, let's enjoy our alphabetical albums!

Finnaly someone with the same bug. This happend to me in June along with other bugs that havent been fixed. First bug was when using the search to filter out the playlist it wouldn't play what I clicked on it would play the song that would be there in the unfilterd playlist. That was fixed but now if I skip to the next song it will play the unfiltered playlist. So I have that along with this bug. So bassically my playlist search is useless and my albums are in what ever the **bleep** order they want to be in. This all happend after an update that did nothing eles (to my knowlage) but break my spotify. I absolutely despise needless updates that do nothing but break things.  Looks like spotify has a Windows 10 philosophy when it comes to updating things. That being fix it till it is broken.

You think "specialost" team will fix it? THEY DONT CARE. I think "specialist" team dont exists. I was reporting many problems witf Spotify and they were telling me old same story.
