I tried to clean cache and data, without success. Uninstalling, TV reboot and installig again from Google Play helped only for 30min or so.

Hello @thelawpl,

Thanks for reaching out via the Community and thanks for sharing these details. It helps with the investigation.

Did you notice if this error message appeared after something specific for the first time?

Since you've already tested with some troubleshooting steps, something else that comes to mind is to restart your router and possibly switch to a different network connection (mobile data via hotspot for example).

If the error message doesn't appear with a different network, then a more advanced step would be to change the DNS settings of your router to 8.8.8.8 to test if that would make a difference.

Don't hesitate to let us know if anything else comes up in the meantime.

I tried to restart the router and use mobile hotspot - without success.

As far as I remember, when the error appeared for the first time, simply I wanted to open the Spotify app on my TV

Hey there @thelawpl,

Thanks for your reply.

Since you mentioned you tried to reset your router, would you mind trying changing the DNS settings as mentioned by @Ivelina above? Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

On another note, we'd suggest you check your TV's settings if there are any available firmware updates and install those.

If the issues continue after that, please let us know the following:

  • The TV firmware version, if you can find it.
  • Does this happen on a different device of yours?
  • Did you notice if this started to happen after a specific event such as an OS update?
  • Do you use a VPN service?

Keep us in the loop!

I set Google DNS IPs, and by surprise that solved the problem. Thanks for the suggestion.
