songs will not play in app on phone

I have android phone. When I'm on Spotify app under playlist roughly 50% of the songs listed will not play. when I click on song the pop up says this track isn't available on your phone?

That's a weird behavior. To start investigating this, would you mind confirming if you have already performed a clean reinstall of the app? If not, we'd recommend following the steps mentioned in this article. 

Also, would you mind checking with a different Wi-Fi connection to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can use a mobile data hotspot. 

Lastly, include in your next response the make, model, and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.
