spotify logs off every time phone is restarted

Spotify logs off every time phone is restarted. If I'm unlucky enough to be somewhere there is no internet, I end up with no music. When I have internet, sometimes it tells me I have too many offline devices, yet I only have it on one cellphone!!!

I'm running it on a galaxy note 3 running lollipop.

I have tried:
* reinstalling
* logging all the instances of my phone off when logged in spotify website
* changing my Facebook password
* switching country to UK, since that is where I am now (changed payment details)
* downloading playlists and then running in offline mode (doesn't help as it automatically logs it when phone is restarted)

Please help.
