+spotify next to my name on the playlist

My Question or Issue

Why does one of my playlists have my name +Spotify next to it? This playlist is not colaborative or anything, I want it just to be for me. I think it is also preventing me from ordering the playlist however I want.

Hi there @Matty777,

Thanks for the post.

This could be an automated playlist created by the app for your or a playlist created by a third party app, that you've linked to your Spotify account. 

Can you check who is listed as creator under the playlist title and image? Does it say your username or 'Made for ...', if the latter - this means that the playlist has been created by Spotify. If you can't reorder the playlist, make sure that the Smart Shuffle button and Enhance button is switched off.

The same issue is happening to me. The creator of the playlist is listed as “my name +Spotify”. It is a playlist I created and come up on my profile. I am unable to access the playlist without it being there and also cannot order the playlist how I would prefer. I also am not seeing the recommended songs to add at the bottom

Nvm, all u gotta do is uninstall and reinstall the app to turn off enhance. The enhance button did not come up as selected before doing this.

I have those on some old playlists (specially when I first created my Spotify account, 10 years ago). I haven’t noticed any new song added by Spotify, neither they were created by it, but it appears as like Spotify were the co creator. 
it doesn’t annoy me but I’m curious if my playlists would be featured in the site or something 😅

I FIGURED IT OUT. Just click the shuffle button and it will go back to normal. It happens when you click the shuffle button twice, pretty gay
