My Question or Issue

 recently i bought a motorola g6 plus, a phone with a fingerprint sensor that can also be used for 1 finger navigation true android. ofcourse i activated this for a bigger screen sice, yet the place where the navigation bar should be doesnt dissapead in Spotify, it just becomes a black part in the screen without use

Hey @ISnipedJFK, welcome to the community!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

I'll see what I can suggest next 😊

dear @Billy-j

tried uninstalling, re-boot and re-install but sadly without any good results.

 

I'm using sotify version: 8.4.64.555 armV7

on android 8.0.0

Could you try another reinstall, this time clearing all the associated cache?

cleared all cashe, cleared all data, un-installed, gave it another reboot, then installed it again. still no results though.

Thanks for the reply! Are you currenly using a second monitor? If you are, try to test full screen mode when only one screen is connected.
