spotify plays 1 song then stops. have to push next song for it to move on to the next.

My Question or Issue

have spotify on my ps4, pc, and phone. ps4 and pc work perfectly fine. phone on the other hand does not. i push the shuffle button and it picks a song to play. once the song is over the thing that shows you where you are in the song goes bak to about half way through the song and pretends to play. theres no sound. ive tried letting it play all the way through but it just sits there at the end once it reaches it. if i click the next song button it moves on to the next song. just wont do it automatically. ive seen my problem on other posts and the solution was uninstall/install the app. which works perfectly. the only problem is i have to do it EVERY time i want to listen to spotify on my phone.. any assistance would be greatly appreciated

• Are you experiencing this on a different network?
• Is this happening when you're using Connect or Bluetooth or when playing directly via the phone?

thanks for the reply, tried most of that, only thing i did try was the clean reinstall. tried it and still no go. the version is the most updated version...ive dled it multiple times...just to be sure tho its 8.5.57.1164.....got a sd card in the phone app sees i have 25 gbs available. works fine on my pc and ps4. just messes up on the phone. as ive said it works fine after a uninstall/install but that gets really annoying.
