spotify stops playing song in random moments

Since june / 2014 (version 1.1.1.162) I am encounrering this annoying bug:

Music pauses in different moments without any reason, sometimes I have to tap 'play' 10 times to finish listening one song. Really annoying. It happens with downloaded songs too.

More details:

What I've noticed is that 3g connection somehow is resposible for it. I travel by train where sometimes I lost my 3g connnection and get it back again - many times during my jurney. Always when i go from offline to 3g the current song is paused. I have to tap play to continue listening it.

Going from offline to online is not the only event to stop playing a song. Sometimes it happens in random moments when I am connected all the time (I have LTE so slow connection is not the case).

It looks like the mechanism to detect if somebody else is using my account for default returns yes so when I lose or get connection it stops playing songs. I didn't have this problem before the "big update" when my old spotify had to be uninstalled.

Hello!

I'm sorry to hear that your having playback difficulties with your android device. Please note that when you are listening to music via streaming (not offline play) and you suddenly lose signal because your on the train for example, then this means that the streaming of the current song will stop. 

However, the app will preload the song and save it to cache so if your half way though a song, and then you suddenly lose signal, the song should continue to play. (I've just tested it). You're probably correct, it does sound like a bug. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

I understand the song could pause if it is not downloaded and I lose internet connection, but it happens with my offline albums.

I have triend to reinstall the app. To reproduce the bug you need to play a downloaded song and be connected via 3g. Then simulate losing a connection it can be done by turning on wifi which requires password (e.g. public hotspot)

Hey, what mobile and android version are you using? I'm using 4.4.3 on a Note 3 and have noticed that all music players switch to "pause" when it detects a network change. This happens on player pro and samsung music player too. It's dirving me crazy and I haven't been able to find a solution so far but it isn't specific to spotify.

The only answer I can come up with at the moment is to switch the mobile to flight mode.

I have nexus 5 and android 4.4.4. Your solution with flight mode is enough for my travel to work. It must be connected with Android version

I have exactly the same problems with the latest version on my iPhone and iPad. (Both and reproducible)
It only occurs when I am using the flight mode. The playlist stops playing exactly after nine songs. (Also reproducible)
