the app won't play music when in background

I've been trying to use Spotify on my tablet, which i draw on, but whenever i open another app, the music stops completely. Sometimes the app tell me to change my settings so the app can work while in background but when i check the app or my tablet settings, nothing to change it ! its super annoying, please help

In this case, could you double-check that Spotify has the permissions to run in the background? You should be able to see this by heading over to your tablet's settings. It's also a good idea to check the device's battery settings and make sure that Spotify is set as an exception, if you're using the battery optimization option.

Shouldn't that do the trick, can you let us know what device and OS version you're using, along with the Spotify version? Also, does the music stop when opening a specific app, or does the same thing happen with all apps?

When I'm not in Spotify, app restarting after few minutes and turn off music.
