volume problem from s3 to car speakers via bluetooth

volume problem from s3 to car speakers via bluetooth

Hi. I've just started playing Spotify through the bluetooth in the car. When at a standstill it's great but when driving the volume on tracks goes down for a few seconds then back to back it was. This happens all the time and is VERY frustrating.

Any help please.

Thank

Does this happens with other audio apps in the same circumstances? Are you using any sort of navigation software?

Hmm yes I use a sat nav on my phone.. I use waze. I haven't tried any other music apps as only use Spotify. No other music stored on my phone. Thank a for replying 🙂

It sounds like the volume is ducking. If you disable Waze does this stop? If so, I believe this is intended behaviour.

Hi - yes I stopped waze and it worked. Is there no way round this at all? thanks for helping

They've been messing with ducking for a couple of months now. The current version caters for folk who were complaining that they couldn't hear their navigation software when spotify was playing. I don't think any change is likely but you could get in touch here and see what spotify say.

If you get an automated response directing you back to the community or to the help pages, please reply to it to speed things along.

Hiya - I've sent them a message through that link. It's really annoying...I just look at my sat nav if I'm listening to my music, don't need the volume on...otherwise I'll just get voices all the time. Might have to stop my subscription because can't be doing with it. Thanks for helping me anyway lovely xx

Hello there,

Thank you for getting in touch with me here at Spotify.

I'm really sorry to hear about this trouble with Spotify on your Samsung.

We are aware of this issue and we are currently working on it. I cannot tell you when exactly, but it should be fixed with the next UI update.

In the meantime, may I offer you 1 extra month of free Premium for the trouble, which will extend your subscription till July 19th and give us time to sort this out for you.

If it sounds good to you, could you please verify the following security information:

- Your PayPal Billing ID (starting with B-)

Look forward to hear from you!

All the best,

Wow. I need to complain too 🙂 Glad to hear they don't consider their work on audio ducking is finished 🙂
